Workers in the industry are potentially at risk from blood borne pathogens. Certain nature of work is such that it may result in injuries, which would increase the risk of transmission.
Transmission of blood borne pathogens can be significantly reduced or prevented if correct control measures are in place. This guidance is intended to assist in the development of such controls.
