Vehicle Extrication
Course Type: Interactive Lecture and Hands-on Training
This Vehicle Extrication Awareness course is a 6 hour interactive course that provides personnel with the basic principles of vehicle design, SRS now and in the future, safety of the patient as well as the rescue team, and a basic overview of emergency services operations at motor vehicle collisions.
Practical: An optional 2nd Day of the course is arranged to train practical and hands-on experience for the corporate Emergency Responders to learn practical techniques. It is therefore designed to provide personnel with an in-depth description of vehicle construction and components of New Vehicle Technology, scene safety, vehicle stabilization with multiple devices, lifting operations, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tool operations, patient care techniques, and EMS considerations.
